6-1/2", rifled, round, 44 Russian cal. barrel, rib with company mark between crosses and patents to 1877, with “REISSUE” 1871. Visible rifling, light pitting, the bore needs light cleaning. Six-shot cylinder. Working mechanism but it needs revision: the first snap is missing (safety lock and unlocked cylinder), when uncocked the cylinder turns, when cocked the cylinder is locked and aligned. Trigger guard with added finger support. Matching serial number "208xx" on the barrel, cylinder and grip. Checkered hard-rubber grip scales with company monogram. All finely engraved with racemes on a dotted background. Silver-plated finishing probably of a later time.
