Large, round, sturdy, single-and short false-edged blade, with hollow tip on the back, surface with double fuller on both sides; the fuller next to the back divided into two grooves in the central segment. Engraved on both sides of the blade over the half length: the left side with the motto "DIFENDE I DEBOLI E ABBATTE IL SUPERBO" placed between racemes and trophies of arms, flags and shields; the right side with the inscription "IL 15 GIUGNO 1861 / DIO TI SALVI" (defects). With remains of not clearly legible letters on both sides at the base. Iron hilt with four loop-guards. Long smooth cap. Ebony grip with checkered sectors (a small missing part). Matching iron scabbard with two lugs (repair on the back side). Pitting, signs of use and time. Interesting.
