Fine, round, single-and-false short-edged blade, hollow tip on the back, with fuller on its entire length doubling at the weak, finely engraved at the forte, featuring on the right side a cartouche with the inscription "TAGLIO FERRO" for high-quality blades, a trophy of shields and flags surrounded by racemes and the inscription "WESTER & CO. SOLINGEN" on the tang; on the left side a trophy of flags with shield, helmet and cannons, the signature of Wester & Co. and a floral decoration on the tang. Iron hilt with four loop-guards, marked "MOSSO SPADARO TORINO" on the back. Ebony grip with checkered sectors. Long cap. Iron scabbard (one bump) well fitting, with two lugs. Mounts with some pitting, the blade in very good condition and with elegant decorations.
