Wooden blade. Tsuka made of ray skin with cha-ito-tsukmaki. Fuchi and kashira made of shakudo nanako-ji with floral and fan motif decoration (both partially gold inlaid), rat-shaped menuki. Oval, iron tsuba. Black lacquered saya, which seems to have been polished by a handful of crushed shells, kozuka with signed blade and grip engraved with sunflowers.
