Shinogi zukuri blade (Nagasa 33 cm); hamon: suguha; hardly visible hada; very small pitting at the edge and areas of rust damage on the blade, which can be removed cleaning it. Nakago mumuei with a mekugi-ana. Habaki in gilded copper. Koshirae with iron tsuba carved with floral motifs, beautiful fuchi and kashira in shakudo, with birds and floral decorations reworked in gold and silver, complete with menuki; missing parts of the tsuka-ito. Saya in black lacquered wood (slight missing parts to the finish) with kozuka decorated with an effigy of a deer and partly gilded floral decorations. Early 19th century.
