Long, smoothbore, two-stage, 15.9 mm cal. barrel, octagonal at the first segment with a brass-inlaid "PISTOIA" mark at the base between three lilies (also brass-inlaid), then of round section after rings. Roman style lock with flat lock plate, the borders partly outlined, the tang with engraved flower; inside signed "Nios 2 Il Guardiani". Wooden half stock (restorations to the butt and small general defects), trigger guard also of wood. Smooth brass mounts, monogram "V" under crown on the barrel bracket band. Horn-tipped wooden ramrod with iron cartridge extractors.
