Rifled, octagonal, 8", 44 cal. barrel, provided with conical foresight, featuring the standard two-line mark on the back, with remains of a not clearly legible mark. Clean bore with visible rifling, pitting mainly at the centre. Six-shot cylinder. Frame marked "J" and "B". Well working mechanism but the stud blocks the cylinder with limited strength (due to worn studs?). Brass trigger guard. Signs of use and time, some pitting. Serial number "89xx" on barrel and grip. Wooden grip scales, the left one with remains of military stamp.
