BECKWITH LONDON" on the left side, “IMPROVED REVOLVING PISTOL” on the right side, both inscriptions between finely engraved floral motifs. Engraved and browned upper cock and trigger guard. Grip scales of briarwood with frame engraved en suite on the back. A piston cleaning needle is screwed to the butt-plate. In its wooden case, lid with circular brass insert with inscription "W.A. BACKWITH GUN MAKER LONDON", inside lined with blue velvet, with Beckwith label and complete with mounts; missing key.
