Lock with remains of "US JOHNSON MIDDN CONN" mark and dated "1838". Well working mechanism. Wooden three-quarter stock (small restorations and crack at the bottom of the grip) with traces of a military inspection stamp on left side. Iron mounts. Articulated ramrod. Pitting.
