Breechloading flintlock system with upward swivelling bolt block, it can be released by the long "trigger guard" placed in front of the trigger guard. Remains of the mark "J.H. HALL FERRY US 1839" on the back of the bolt. Working mechanism. Wooden, full stock with remains of large "D.U" stamp on the right side of the butt stock. Iron mounts.
