Third Model Large Frame. Short, rifled, 44 cal. barrel, with foresight, without back rib. On the left side remains of Hopkins & Allen mark and patents up to 1883. Clean bore with light pitting especially at the nozzle, visible rifling. Six-shot, grooved cylinder. Frame marked on the left side "CALIBRE WINCHESTER 1873" (44-40), on the right side remains of Merwin, Hulbert & Co. mark and "POCKET ARMY" inscription. Model with folding comb of the cock. Beak-shaped grip. Checkered, hard-rubber grip scales. Matching serial number "9906" on the barrel, cylinder and grip. Browning probably refreshed later, however not recent. Well working mechanism in both single and double action.
