Rifled, octagonal, 12.5 mm cal. barrel, (bore with pitting, visible rifling), browned, with "CONTRINER" mark and two imperial brass-inlaid marks at the base, in the centre signed "CONTRINER", bell-mouthed nozzle provided with precision fore sight. Finely engraved short tang provided with double rear sight and number "2". Forward spring lock with lock plate marked "IN WIEN" and finely engraved with floral motifs, piston base with parts damaged by rust. Wooden half stock with faceted butt and elliptical at the base. Iron mounts engraved en suite. Trigger guard with finger support. Set trigger which needs to be fixed. Cased pistol, so without ramrod.
