Rebated, six-shot cylinder with fuller, featuring patent markings. Working mechanism, the barrel with some play. Frame marked "COLTS PATENT", serial no. "12xx". Serial numbers matching on barrel, gripstraps and cylinder, the pin with different five-digit numbering. Brass gripstraps with remains of earlier silver finishing and mark "L" on the side of the trigger guard. Smooth walnut grip.
