The opposite side without decoration. Short shoulder shaped as a truncated cone with cylindrical rests featuring a cusped head. Ferrule shaped as a truncated cone, with thick rings. Wide straps. On a later wooden shaft (joined at the end of the straps), decorated with a few tassels. A typical insigna of an officer or non-commissioned officer.
