Solid, straight, double-edged blade of lenticular section, decorated with round, copper inlays (the seven stars of the Great Bear) and remains of engraving. Brass foil hilt, the quillon and the two ring nuts engraved with geometric and floral motifs; pommel decorated en suite with the quillon. Horn grip decorated with brass flower provided with central hole (for a 'jiànsuì' tassel made of purple fabric). In the upper part of the scabbard is a second sword with straight, single-and-false-edged blade, decorated with dorsal grooves and central fuller, at the base remains of engravings; the hilt and grip are a part of the scabbard. The scabbard is made of wood covered in green-dyed rawhide, brass mounts engraved with dragons and floral motifs; complete with clutches and cords. Rare.
