Rifled, octagonal, twisted barrel, 18,4 mm cal. at the nozzle, with foresight at the nozzle and rear sight adjustable in three heights with sight leaves, signed on the back "WESTLEY RICHARDS 170 NEW BOND ST. LONDON". Bore needs cleaning, with signs of use and time, the rifling still well marked. The breech block with an animal depiction on the back. Typical thick rib on underside. Tang engraved with floral motifs. Forward spring lock, engraved with florals and marked "WESTLEY RICHARDS" provided with cock with external safety lock. Well working mechanism. Walnut half stock with remains of checkering. Partially engraved iron mounts. Areas of pitting. Thick wood and brass ramrod.
