Smoothbore, round, 12 cal barrels (clean bore), provided with rib marked "WESTLEY RICHARDS 170 NEW BOND ST. LONDON". On the lower side marks of the Birmingham test bench. Probably rebrowned. Receiver with Westley Richards patent and finely engraved with racemes. The key with remains of browning. Spring lock engraved with racemes and signed "WESTLEY RICHARDS". Outer cocks engraved en suite. Working mechanisms. Wooden stock of archaic type, the fore-end is separated to allow the barrel swivelling. Both elements are checkered. Iron trigger-guard engraved en suite. Wooden, extended butt plate.
