Smoothbore, two-stage barrel, octagonal at the first part, with longitudinal ribs at the corners, then round, with rings at the girdle, 11.4 mm cal. at the nozzle. Lock with flintlock mechanism and flat lock plate engraved with floral motifs. Mechanism is working but needs revision (the internal arm does not reach the base of the pan cover, which cannot be closed; the snap spring is weak). On the back of the lock plate is a signature not clearly legible (perhaps G Vallini...). Wooden full stock with repairs and restorations. Engraved and carved iron mounts. Some pitting. Ramrod made entirely of horn.
