Octagonal, rifled, 16,4 mm cal. barrel (visible rifling, fouling especially at the nozzle) the base with rear sight and with two engraved frames, then with the patent marking "FORSYTH & C.o PATENT. GUN MAKERS. LONDON", foresight. Tang engraved with trophies and floral motifs. Lock converted to percussion with lock plate signed "FORSYTH & C.o PATENT"; engraved with floral motifs and lowered end, marked "1" under the nipple. Wooden full stock with saw handle and hole to extend it. Brass mounts engraved with floral motifs. Iron ramrod.
