Rifled, octagonal, 36 cal. barrel (visible rifling, signs of pitting inside), with brass, cusped foresight. Mark "H". Smooth, six-shot cylinder. Working mechanism. Frame marked on the upper part with factory mark and patents of 1856, 1859 and 1860. Grip with smooth walnut grip scales featuring traces of marks on the bottom and remains of a military inspection stamp. Stamp "C" on the base of the cartridge rammer and on the frame. A few faint traces of finishing in some places, pitting. Wide trigger guard with trigger and ring loading lever.
