length 32,3 cm.
Straight, double-edged blade, ribbed in the middle and at the tip, with fuller on both sides for the rest of the length, marked "DUMONTHIER / BREVET DYn". Two smoothbore, cylindrical, 9 mm cal. barrels. Iron quillon with four quillons, two on the guard side, two on the parry side, the latter also constituting the cocks of the pistol and completely covering the nipples when closed. Single trigger working mechanism that fires the two cocks in sequence when both are cocked. Foldaway trigger in the centre band of the grip. White metal grip scales with fluted decoration. Slight signs of time on the iron parts. Leather scabbard with white metal mounts.
