Large, curved, single-and short false-edged blade, with wide fuller, pitting and signs of use especially at the tip, the base with remains of marks "K" under star, "B" between laurels, and "L", all within ovals; on the back "M.f.ture Imp.ale du Klingenthal, aout 1813". Brass hilt with remains of gilding. Rounded langets, guard with three loop-guards "a la chasseur" and long cap. Main loop-guard featuring remains of four marks (including "G" and "W" surmounted by star) and mark "VERSAILLES". Grip with leather covering featuring signs of use. Well-fitted iron scabbard, with two lugs, pitting and "V" mark. Iron drag. Period: Early Empire.
