Finely steel hilt carved in low relief, the centre of crossguard with a woman's bust on one side and with a lion on the other side, the short quillons shaped as a wide, flat drop, decorated with women's busts and hounds, all between branches and on a grained base. Flat, oval pommel decorated with a female bust and a winged lion. Wooden grip covered with wire binding and wire Moor's heads. Of excellent quality.
