length 125 cm.
Beautiful and heavy, octagonal, browned, rifled, 13 mm cal barrel, signed "Franz Schloegel zu Innsbruck" in silver, the base and the nozzle with silver decorations, provided with rear sight and foresight. Tang carved with floral motifs, small folding peep sight. Lock and stock in the classic shape of wheel-lock rifles, provided with large flat plate signed "Franz Schloegl" and engraved with floral motifs. The mechanism, originally a flintlock, was then converted to percussion and features a reverse hammer and a big spark-arrester shield. Full wooden stock partially carved with floral motifs, provided with patchbox, brass mounts. The right side of the barrel featuring two buttons which work as a safety lock (very rare system). Thumb rest and set trigger. Horn-tipped, wooden ramrod.
