Smoothbore, round, 17 mm cal. barrels, made of damask, with rib and foresight. Engraved tang, with sight and opening lever. Forward spring locks with lock plates finely engraved with floral motifs, one signed "LIVERANI / MODIGLIANA" and one marked "MANIFATTURA / ITALIANA". Rare barrel-opening system, by pulling the lever in the tang longitudinally towards the butt, the barrels are free to move with a maximum opening until they reach the orthogonal position of the rifle, these (the barrels) at the base with a loading gate. Wooden butt with micro-checkered hand support and grip, woodworm holes; micro-checkered, wooden fore-end. Iron mounts engraved en suite with the locks. Missing ramrod. Working mechanism.
