Leather skull of elongated form (a bump on one side, signs of use and time), with sewn brim and nape-guard. The top with a long flame-shaped metal cusp mounted on a cross-shaped base. Front grenade badge with triple flames and with carved regimental number '7'. Leather chin-straps with white metal scales. With leather cockade featuring the colours of the Order of St. George on the right side.With sweat-band inside and white cloth cap (later?). Crimean War period, 1853 -1856.
