Smoothbore, octagonal barrels with remains of browning, marked on the back with a silver-inlaid mark featuring the inscription "TATHAM & EGG", with a silver-inlaid frame on the breech, 14.5 mm. (.57) at the nozzle. Clean bores, in good condition. The barrel tangs with floral engravings and fixed rear sight. Locks with flat lock plate and oblique borders engraved with frames; lowered tangs provided with external safety lock. The cocks shaped as a swan-neck with lower jaw support. Batterie with anti-friction wheel. Both with working mechanism. Walnut, three-quarter stock with checkered grip. Iron mounts. Trigger guards with engraved trophies, frames and finger support. Butt-plates engraved en suite. Iron-tipped wooden ramrod. One with cartridge extractors, one with open-work to screw in other tools. Kept in a case of later production (20th century) complete with some accessories.
