Wide, slightly curved, single-edged blade, double fuller, remains of a typical Russian cartouche and the Cyrillic signature "Guzunov" at the base. Brass basket hilt with remains of gilding, langets. Long, smooth cap. Leather-covered wooden grip; wire binding probably of later date. Leather-covered wooden scabbard with brass mounts engraved with floral motifs and with owner's monogram on the cap. 80 % of the original gilding; one of the two suspension rings is missing.
