Crowning the piece is a cuirassier helmet, positioned above crossed branches that frame a miniature of the Legion of Honor. At the heart of the composition is a cuirass, complete with a backplate. Below, various sabers of different types and crossed axes are arranged. On the background, two hand-painted crossed French imperial flags are adorned with finials and accompanied by crossed lances. At the base, a grand array of elements is depicted: remnants of a Gribeauval cannon, various shakos, a mortar, a cuirass, a backplate, a cannon barrel, a sabretache, a flintlock pistol, a flintlock blunderbuss, as well as cartridge boxes, cannonballs, a trumpet, a drum, a Schellenbaum, epaulettes, and weapon fragments. Materials: gilded metal, silver, lapis lazuli, brass, leather, and more. The entire piece is mounted on a wooden base and protected by a glass case.
