Octagonal, smoothbore, 12 mm cal. barrels (clean bores), browned and with damascus design, signed "C. Pirko in Wien" in gold among gold and silver decorations. The bases finely engraved and with gold and silver frames; the breech with the mark of the Liege test bench on the left side; precision foresights browned on gold frame and remains of marks engraved in gold and silver; 12 mm cal nozzles. Tangs numbered "1" and "2" in gold, finely engraved and provided with rear sight. Forward spring locks, majestically engraved with hunter holding a rifle and sitting in a field, surrounded by spirals; the lock plates marked "WIEN". The counterplates signed "PIRKO" and skilfully engraved with a depiction of a female figure sitting in a carriage drawn by two deers and followed by a hound, in the countryside; the counterplate with fishbone decoration on the border. Elegant wooden half stock sculpted with leaves in bas-relief on the to the fore-end caps, with checkered butts. Mounts decorated with leaves and geometric motifs. Trigger guards carved with an oval mask set in a gold frame, provided with finger support. Butt-plates with screwable primer case. Brass-tipped, wooden ramrods. Kept in a non-matching case made of fine briarwood, on the lid the Austrian double eagle made of bronze; inside a label by Carl Pirko.
