Short, round, rifled, 18 mm cal. barrel, (bore with pitting, barely visible rifling), octagonal base marked "C. DE 18", "C" and "S" under crown, "H" under star and date "1841". Tang with model inscription, rear sight. Backward spring lock with St. Etienne imperial manufacture mark; mark "M" below crown. Wooden, full stock with iron mounts; various marks. The right side with long, iron bar with sling swivel. Rare.
