Straight, double-edged, broad blade and round tip, all engraved in etching with a cyclic calendar (ephemeris) that allows the dates of movable birthdays in any year from 1676 to 1690 to be specified, as well as the reigning zodiac sign; engraved with the legend "ALSO STEHT ES IN DER WELT"(That's how things are in this world) written in small letters on one side at the base, on the other side "Fec. Ioh. Ad. Ehinger". A mask is engraved at the tip on both sides, between the months the zodiac signs are beautifully engraved. Areas of corrosion on the surface. Iron hilt with slightly upward curved quillons, ends shaped as a hound's head in the round; the centre of crossguard carved with floral motifs. The pommel deeply carved with a grotesque mask. Deer horn grip. Interesting cleaver combining mystical and religious fragments in the art of hunting.
