Four-stage, smoothbore barrel: the first octagonal segment with remains of "LAZARO LAZARINO" marking, the second faceted, the last two round alternating with rings. 12.4 mm cal. at the nozzle. Interesting bore of polygonal section (hexagonal) hollow riflings on the corners of the hexagon, perhaps with a slight helical pattern. Elegantly made lock with slightly rounded lock plate featuring a raceme frieze held in the centre by a putto. Tang and cock screw with mask in relief. Batterie with grotesque female figure at the base. Working mechanism with single snap. Typical sliding pan cover. Wooden stock with outlines and leaves on the lower side. Small restored block in the ramrod groove. Iron mounts. Butt-plate and trigger guard with beautiful masks in relief. Back shield with portrait of a lady within a heart-shaped frame and pierced floral motifs around it. The counterplate is also pierced and has a belt hook. Turned, iron-tipped wooden ramrod with cartridge extractors.
