Beautiful equestrian sculptural group featuring Edward of Woodstock on his fully armored steed. He is clad in golden armor and holds his sword unsheathed. Almost the entire statuette is painted with the royal emblems: three golden lions on a red field and fleurs-de-lis on a blue field. It stands on a green-painted pedestal, which bears the inscription in Gothic characters: "1330 THE BLACK PRINCE 1376 / EDWARD PRINCE OF WALES 1376". The base is marked "SACAVEM PORTUGAL" in gold.
