length 136 cm.
Very long, straight, double-edged blade, with deep central groove marked "GIL DE ALMAN" at the forte; trapezoidal tang scaled en suite and with two star-shaped marks. Very elegant hilt consisting of two loops and ring guard, two arms of the hilt, parry quillon curved towards the blade and guard with three loop-guards, cusped center of crossguard provided with thin longitudinal ribbing. The three ring guards, the ends of the parry-quillon and the guard are decorated with oval faceted knots between two discs. Faceted pommel. The hilt finely inlaid with a repeated series of "S" and oblique lines; the pommel decorated with zig-zag lines. Wooden grip covered with iron wire binding and Moor's heads; the wire binding worked in diamond shapes.
