Single-edged, curved blade with jelmann, of fine Wootz damask, with double groove next to the back. On one side of the tang the inscription "La hawla wa la quwwata illa Billah al layul azim’", (There is no strength except from Allah). On the other side, the cartouche with a stylised lion, typical of Assad Allah's production; all among gold-inlaid decorations and frames. Typical guard probably of damask, also with gold frames; pistol grip with camel bone grip scales.
