Inside with black leather sweat-band (signs of use and time), black silk cap marked in gold "Cav. CAPRIOLO SECONDO ERN.sto & FIGLI / CAPO ARMAIOLO CORAZZIERI / DI / S. M. IL RE / Reggimento Genova Cavalleria / Bologna", probably replaced at a later time.
