Original painting made by Manara and published for the first time in France in the volume "La modèle" published by Albin Michel in 2001, later in Italy in "Il pittorico e la modella" by Mondadori in 2002 and recently used as the cover of the volume "Milo Manara Collection: I Borgia" (vol. 2) by the publisher RCS in 2024. One of the most original and heartfelt works by the Veronese master, conceived on the relationship between the painter (in the history of art) and the figure of the "model". << Among the most beautiful books designed by Milo Manara, the one that reveals his love and great knowledge of the history of art and shows us art as a long story marked by this intimate and secret bond between the painter and his model.
