Specialist Notes

In the mid-1960s, two visionaries, the Marquis Bargagli and Narciso Cristiani, thought of a totally innovative form of city mobility. Zagato noticed the Urbanina exhibited at the Turin Motor Show and was impressed by it. When the Milan Fair asked Zagato to set up the cars, electric of course, which would be used as means of service at the 1972 Milan International Fair, Elio Zagato turned to Poggio Adorno to buy mechanics and chassis on which to set up his own body shop. in fiberglass. The Urbanine with fiberglass body set up by Zagano were called "Milanine". Today very rare.
