Specialist Notes
The Camaro, born in 1966, is the "pony car" designed by the American Chevrolet, in response to the Ford Mustang. After only four years the second series was presented, with evident modifications. This example from the beginning of the 2nd series, of Swiss origin, but regularly cleared and imported into Italy, is an RS (Rally Sport) version with an original 307 c.i. V8 engine and has all the characteristics of this set-up, with a black vinyl roof. The car is preserved in excellent original condition with some unavoidable signs of ageing; we point out signs on the front and rear left wheel arches and, inside, the door of the document holder with a broken corner. It has rare options such as air conditioning and a vintage radio. Fitted with rare BWA alloy rims. The leatherette interior is in very good condition. It has no traces of rust. European since new, it has the speedometer in Kmh. Stopped for some time, it needs careful set-up before being put on the road.
