Naples, 1847. 4th, pp. XII-468 with 12 plates engraved on copper and colored with watercolour. Magnificent contemporary binding in full green leather from the workshop of Raffaele and Raimondo Trani, spine decorated in gold with title and friezes with floral motifs, plates entirely decorated with gold frames and concentric dry-stone frames which enclose a central rectangular plaque decorated with floral motifs , golden cuts, dentelles, slight defects. The volume contains the following original monographs: On the Mandarin Orange (1 table) by Michele Tenore. Essay on the Lucanian flora and description of a new umbellifer by Francesco Barbazita. Description of a new mushroom of the Dedalee genus (1 table) by Francesco Briganti. Clinical Observations by Giovanni de Vitis. On the new method of illuminating by means of a spirituous liquid by Francesco Lancellotti. Cimicum Regni Neapolitani Centuria first and second (5 plates) by Achille Costa. Economic-commercial reflections by Francesco Cantarelli. On the patent application for the introduction of the electro-chemical method for gilding metals by Francesco d'Agostino. Summary of experiments on the dry maceration of flax by Francesco Briganti. Complete history of the Entomibia Apum (1 table) by Achille Costa. Research into some species of Maples (4 plates) by Michele Tenore. Proposal for a general systematic description of the vines, grapes and wines of the Kingdom of Naples.
