Rome, Appresso Lepido Facij, 1603. In 4°. Engraved title page within an architectural frame with allegories and a portrait of the Author within a gilt, on the verso of the title page large coat of arms of the Salviati family, initials, friezes and numerous woodcut illustrations in the text, browning on some leaves, scattered foxing, restored tear in the white margin of R6. Contemporary full hard parchment binding, title printed on a tag on the spine, defects on the hinge and spine. Numbering error, Omitted from the numbering from p. 113 to 116, but complete.
