Famous writing by Ficino reprinted by Giunti in September 1522, together with the Consiglo di Maestro Thommaso del Garbo contra la pestilentia (papers 50-61), when a terrible epidemic of the black plague had once again raged in Italy and Florence. The work, which investigates the causes and remedies against the plague, had been published for the first time in 1481. See Durling 1531; Wellcome I, 2264.
