In 4°. 5 volumes. 115 engraved plates including 2 illustrated frontispieces, portrait of Elisabetta Petrowna, copper-engraved dedicatory plate, portrait of Dante, 2 plates with coins and the poet's monument, plan of the Inferno, folded family tree, full-page headpieces and plates at the beginning of each canto, copper-engraved endpapers and typographical decorations, perfect copy, SPLENDID CONTEMPORARY BINDING in green leather with gilded frames on the covers, spine with 5 raised bands framing six compartments, gold title on a brown tag, red edges.

Sumptuous edition of Dante's writings containing, in addition to the Divine Comedy, the published and unpublished prose and lyric rhymes, embellished with beautiful plates engraved by Giampiccoli, Magnini, Rizzi, and Crivelli based on drawings by Francesco Fontebasso, Gaetano Zompini, Schiavoni, and Marcazzi.
