Specialist Notes

Mambelli 39: "A rare and clear edition in italic characters, decorated with initials, vignettes and floral motifs carved in wood...The 12 woodcuts, which occupy two-thirds of the pages, appear to be free reductions of the drawings in the Marcolini edition of 1545.".
