Beautiful one-page letter in 8°, 212 x 132 mm., dated Naples 14 June 1904 and addressed to Luigi Luzzatti; together in the lot is a letter from Ugo Ojetti from December 1900, where he requests access to the Chamber Library.
"Your Excellency, excuse a lively movement of my spirit: but I was too sorry to be or appear to be misjudged by a man of your worth! Many stupid people are Ministers: and it would matter little to me if one of these wretches were to use rudeness towards me. But a man - Minister - very talented, like Your Excellency, he must love me and treat me well (...)"
