Venice, [Lucantonio Giunta], 1537. In 8°. 2 vols. Printer's mark on the title pages, text in Greek, II vol. divided into two parts, in the first volume. some slight redness and very slight halo, small tear without loss on the lower internal margin of two leaves, on the second volume. typographical mark on the title page and on the reverse of 2I4, rare and light reddening, light restoration on the last leaves. In the second volume a second copy of leaves 2I3-2I4 taken from another copy in loose and slightly trimmed sheets. Later binding in half parchment and marbled paper, blue inserts on the spine with gold titles, slight signs of wear. Vanishing notes belonging to the title page of the first volume.

Homer's works are divided as follows: I vol.: Iliad; II volume: the Odyssey, the Batrachomiomachia, the Hymns, the lives of Homer by Herodotus and Plutarch and the discourse on Homer's language composed by Dio Cristotomo
