Specialist Notes
Incunabula edition printed in Venice by the printer and stable of the Doge Giovanni da Cologne of this treatise divided into seven books, aimed not only at defending Christianity through the refutation of pagan errors, but also at providing Christians with a complete manual for expounding Christian thought . This work achieved considerable success, so much so that Lactantius himself created a summary of it, the Epitome.
