Specialist Notes
This is the complete draft of the poem entitled "He was a bastard. In the evil eye", published in Canto Novo, n.VII of part III, first edition Rome, Sommaruga, 1882. The present autograph testifies to a title "Rossaccio" which does not appear in the Sommaruga print, as well as other textual variants.
