Magnificent figurative frontispiece by Marillier engraved in copper by De Ghendt and 3 out-of-text plates, also by Marillier, engraved by Massard, Ponce and Voyez l'ainé, amateur's binding in full nineteenth-century red morocco - signed by Reymann - with triple gilt fillet on the plates, compartmented spine with precious gold decorations and title, beautiful golden dentelles on the endpapers, golden edges. Ex libris on the backplate with Gallo on top of a pile of books and motto: "Ognora assto - From the books of C. G."
